Mid 20C Mahogany 'Carlton House' Writing Desk. The bowed panelled back having beaded top edge and harebell decorated divides. The top with a broad crossbanded edge and beaded running into quarter veneered hinged lids flanking 4 tambor sliding doors again with harebell decorated divides. The leather top having flowerhead carved moulded edge also running around the back. Concave mahogany lined central drawer flanked by 4 short drawers all with brass ring handles with cast back plates and flanked harebell decorated panels. On reeded tapered legs with leaf carved tops on brass castors.
