Late 19C 3 Bottle Coromandel & Silver Plated Decanter by The Goldsmith Co. Patented by Betjemann's. The hinged top having a scrolled plated handle with engraved Swedish Coats of Arms. This locked by a Brahma lock with working key. The whole lock when opened slides down to release the top and the 3 square cut glass decanters with stoppers. The shaped ends holding the lock and top bar. Above the lock it is engraved with Coat of Arms and Betjemann's Patent 46423 London. To the other end is the same Coat of Arms over the inscription The Tantalus The bottles sitting in satinwood lined appertures The base with silver plated shaped brackets to all corners also having small plaque engraved The Goldsmith Company 112 Regent Street London. On mitred base with velvet lining underneath.
